Discover the rich natural environment of Kef, with its mountain climate shaped by its unique geology, on a walking tour lasting around three hours. Caper bushes, carob trees, striped hyenas and wild boars, all endemic species, will reveal their secrets to you!
This trail, from the medina to the Zaafran delegation, includes a walk from the ‘Au fil du Thym’ information centre to the northern tip of the Dyr. It is marked with explanatory signs with QR codes that provide information on some of the local flora and fauna, raising awareness of the fragility of this environment in a fun and educational way.
This observation and data collection work, which led to this unique experience, was carried out over six months with a botanist expert and beneficiaries Chaïma Arbi and Maher Djebali from the Patrimoni 1 training programme set up by Museum Lab in 2021-2022.
