Located in the medina of Kef, Sidi Bouloufa is a cultural and tourist information centre and a place for learning about the city’s heritage.
Here, you can find out more and book our heritage tours on the tales and legends of the city, its built heritage, Sufi brotherhoods and songs, and the region’s wheat and bread heritage.
At Sidi Bouloufa, you can also taste and purchase local products and crafts, consult books on the region, and attend cultural events.
Housed in a former zaouia, in the heart of the hara, the city’s old Jewish quarter, the space was completely restored by our Museum Lab association in 2021 in collaboration with the municipality.
In order to revive the life and memory of the place and reconnect the inhabitants with their old city, we have designed this space as a resource centre where you can discover some of the forgotten stories and characters of Kef by listening to audio testimonies from the city’s elders. You can also view a series of postcards designed by our team to familiarise you with the evolution of the city of Kef over the last 100 years.
